I was pleased to take part in the Ophthalmology Foundation examination this March. The examination was thoughtfully structured, clinically relevant, and a valuable test of applied ophthalmic knowledge. I particularly appreciated that the questions encouraged reasoning rather than simple recall, which made the experience both engaging and academically meaningful. The process reflected the care and effort of the Ophthalmology Foundation team in developing an assessment with genuine educational value. Like a good refraction, the experience was at its best when clarity, precision, and clinical judgement came together. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated and wish the Ophthalmology Foundation continued success in supporting ophthalmic learning and assessment.
