AAO and OF Symposium
The Ophthalmology Foundation and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) are co-sponsoring a symposium at the upcoming fall meeting in Chicago. The Vision Forward: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Devices in Ophthalmology Education and Practice will be presented by esteemed colleagues from the OF Education Consortium on 18 October 2024, 1:30-4:30pm. Symposium Number SYM01, Room S105a at McCormick Place. We will examine the practical applications of AI in ophthalmic education and the pros and cons of allowing digital devices in classrooms and different ways of incorporating technology to support learning objectives.

EVER 2024
The 27th Congress of EVER (European Association for Vision and Eye Research) in Valencia, Spain, will be held 3-5 November 2024. This year’s program will provide the perfect environment to promote the best research in vision, retina and eye, bringing together clinical, translational and basic science. The Simulation-Based Education subcommittee of OF is proud to present a course on Good practices in simulation‑based education in Ophthalmology: Initiating and advancing simulation‑based education.
APAO and AIOS 2025
Join us at the 40th Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress in conjunction with The 83rd Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society in New Dehli, India, 3-6 April 2025. The Ophthalmology Foundation will lead a speed mentoring session and more. Check back for more details!
