How to Enroll in Examinations
The Ophthalmology Foundation will conduct three formal examinations annually for ophthalmologists in training, held twice a year in March and September. The next exam will be on 30 September 2026. - Test your knowledge by answer sample questions from all three examinations.

Cost and Payments
Cost: The cost of all three exams are based on your home country and the World Bank Index and will be displayed at the time of application. Pricing information can be obtained by emailing the examinations team at exams[at]ophthalmologyfoundation.org.
Payment Plans: Candidates may choose to pay in installments over either a three-month or six-month period, or all at once. Candidates who enroll in a payment plan are still eligible to sit the examination before completing their final installment.
- The 6-month payment plan is available until 31 May 2026.
- An initial payment of one-third for the three month payment plan and one-sixth for the six month payment plan of the total fee is required upon submission of the application.
- After enrolling in a payment plan, candidates are responsible for ensuring that all remaining payments are completed will receive automated reminders.
