If you’re attending AAO 2025 this October, join us on 17 October, 1:30-4:30 PM, US Eastern Time, for our Ophthalmic Educators Workshop – AI as a Clinical Learning Partner: Custom Chatbots, Prompting Strategies, Rubrics and More for Enhancing Medical Education, co-sponsored by the Ophthalmology Foundation and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. This symposium has been approved for CME credits. This symposium is free for registered attendees.

Our symposium aims to empower participants to elevate their teaching skills by harnessing the power of AI to enhance and efficiently deliver educational activities. It will feature lectures, discussions and audience participation aimed at best use of Chatbots, critical thinking, ChatGPT5, assessment of skills and ethical considerations. Real-time examples will be used to facilitate audience participation. The importance of writing good prompts and utilized custom Chatbots will be covered. Teaching critical thinking and through simulations will be discussed. Finally, assessment of learners, what’s new in ChatGPT5 and ethical considerations regarding AI will be covered.

In addition, visit the Ophthalmology Foundation and the International Ophthalmological Fellowship Foundation (IOFF) at booth #3300 on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday in the exhibition hall.
