We are proud to announce the David and Molly Pyott Foundation Travel Grant 2025 recipient, Dr. Gebreabzgi Gebrekidan! Dr. Gebrekidana is from Rwanda and earned the highest passing score on the Clinical Ophthalmology Examination in 2025.

Recibir esta noticia me llenó de una profunda alegría y gratitud, no solo por el reconocimiento, sino también por las oportunidades que presenta. Con esta beca, puedo asistir a congresos internacionales en los que espero profundizar mi comprensión de los últimos avances y establecer contactos con estimados profesionales en nuestro campo. Me entusiasman los caminos que abre este premio y cómo mejorará mis contribuciones a la atención de los pacientes en oftalmología. Presenté el examen mientras trabajaba en un entorno oftalmológico de alto volumen y agradecí que la mayoría de las preguntas se basaran en escenarios de la práctica clínica real. El examen fue exigente y abordó a fondo los conocimientos clínicos de manera estructurada y sistemática.
